Dan Martin is the past-president of the Arkansas Association of Oriental Medicine, co-author of the Arkansas Practice Act and a member of American College for Advancement in Medicine. He co-founded the American Academy of Oriental Medicine Family Practice, A.A.O.M.F.P. and is author of several articles and books on Oriental Medical procedures, including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, acupuncture point injection and intravenous nutritional therapy. He was the first "Doctor of Oriental Medicine", O.M.D. to attend The American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology A.B.C.M.T. seminars and sit for the written exam.
Dan Martin was also one of the first "Doctors of Oriental Medicine" to attend Howw Toooo Seminars which instruct physicians in chelation, oxidative medicine, intravenous nutrition and photophoresis. He was featured in the July/August edition of the Naturopathic Physician magazine.
