As the founder of The Real Deal RD and T1D Academy, my specialty includes both people with diabetes and those who help to care for them. With almost 25 years of experience living with Type 1 Diabetes, exploring strategies and technologies to help manage the burden of chronic disease and a Masters in Applied Nutrition, I have a wealth of knowledge about all things T1D and am passionate about educating, advocating & helping people from all walks of life better understand life with Type 1.
