I am a Dietitian and Canadian Certified Counsellor specializing in eating disorders, intuitive eating, HAES and body positivity. I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, and I help people break free from the damaging cycle of dieting. I take a weight neutral approach and focus on unlearning deep-rooted behaviours with food, eating, weight and body image. I work with anyone wanting to explore their relationship with food and weight, re-learn how to find pleasure in eating, and separate themselves from toxic diet culture. I offer confidential in-person and virtual appointments.
I specialize in treating active eating disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder, and anyone that falls along the spectrum of disordered eating. I have extensive training and experience in these areas. I am also trained in health-at-every-size, non-diet approach to treatment of PCOS and diabetes.
Holding a counselling designation allows me to work with clients who wish to explore the roots of their disordered eating and aren't ready to work on the nutrition side of things - I will meet you wherever you are at and work at a pace you are comfortable with. My clients find me to be extremely warm, understanding, empathic, honest and non-judgmental.
