As a a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of experience in weight management, medical nutrition therapy, eating disorders, mindful eating, obesity treatment and more, I work with clients to make healthy eating realistic and enjoyable. I don't believe in "diet plans," rather I support people in incorporating a variety of foods into their everyday lives. From our first session, I can assure you that I listen and support my clients with compassion and understanding. We work together to succeed.

I work with families and children of all ages to improve nutrition and bring joy back to meal-time for the family. Generally, parents come to see me because they (or their pediatrician) have a concern. Many parents want their toddler to eat more; others want their child to attain a healthy body weight; others are completely overwhelmed by what meal-time has become. I have been trained as a Registered Dietitian, with multidisciplinary training as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. In conjunction with more than thirty years of experience in healthcare in various settings, she has essential diabetes skills to adapt care and nutrition intervention that is culturally sensitive to meet a wide variety of health needs from infancy to senior care. She has a passion for taking care of patients with diabetes mellitus.

I believe my ideal client is one that is motivated to make a change. I do not have a particular issue or goal in mind I have a client motivation in mind. I am looking for a client to trust me and I ask them to trust me during the premier case review which will conduct on our first session together. I believe that before you can “fix” someone or assign a “protocol” you need to know who they are, where they come from, their hx. , their antecedents.
