I first wanted to be a dietitian to help change the face of sports dietetics. I wanted to be one of the first females to help take a team to the Super Bowl, championship, Olympics – you name it. I saw the fun in optimizing performance of elite athletes. However, as I studied nutrition I learned more about how broken the health system is and how often misconceptions about diet and food are causing long term repercussions.

Hi! My name is Kelsey and I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2014, licensed in the state of Illinois. I’ve always had an interest in food, which started in childhood. I was a very picky eater (sorry mom and dad!), and decided early on that I would be a vegetarian. As I’ve gotten older, I have expanded my food palate, but I’ve always stuck with the morals of eating foods that help me feel good and I believe that is a guiding principle of overall health.

I work from a weight-neutral lens and I utilize the principles of Intuitive Eating in my counseling. Asante is a Board-Certified Registered Dietitian. She completed her clinical internship and masters degree at Rush University Medical Center after graduating from Case Western Reserve University. Asante is an expert in counseling and educating patients who need medical nutrition therapy in either an inpatient or outpatient setting. In sessions with Asante she will empower her patients and instill confidence in his or herself to achieve desired goals.

Christi (she/her) became a registered dietitian in 2019. She studied dietetics and dance at Michigan State University and completed a master’s degree in applied nutrition at Russell Sage College. She has helped clients with diabetes, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, mental health conditions, and weight goals in addition to having experience providing care for the LGBTQ+ community. Christi takes a holistic approach to nutrition counseling, considering multiple aspects of health and well-being when prescribing diet advice.

My name is Michel Harris and I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2000 and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2010. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Benedictine University before by internship at Hines VA Hospital. Some of my past work experiences have included long term care, foodservice management, private practice serving individuals with eating disorders, and inpatient positions in hospitals. My passion for teaching the future generation of nutrition professionals led me to start teaching in 2018.

Brittany Bingham MS, RD, LD is a dietitian with many years of experience in dietetics and wellness. Brittany earned her undergraduate degree at Northern Illinois University. After undergrad, she moved back to her hometown to build her nutrition skills through the Sodexo Dietetic Internship with a focus in clinical nutrition while simultaneously completing her MS in Dietetics.
