I have been a Registered Dietitian for 17 years specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. I help people change their relationship with food and exercise while promoting positive body image. In addition to providing nutrition education on normal eating, I also address the thoughts and feelings around food. I promote a non-diet approach to health in which all foods can fit into the diet. The goal is for you to develop a positive and healthy relationship with food and your body.

Uhling Consulting is a group of Registered Dietitians (RDs) that offer medical nutrition therapy/nutrition counseling. We offer a private setting for one-on-one nutrition counseling. I specialize in treating the full spectrum of eating disorders in both adults and adolescents. I began my work at the residential treatment level of care working with both adult and adolescent eating disorder patients. I then widened my experience and furthered my skills by working in the outpatient setting. I again worked with adolescents and adults both with eating disorders and other medical conditions requiring medical nutrition therapy. Since that time I have worked as the lead dietitian at the residential treatment level of care treating adolescents with severe eating disorders.

Children are our future! For them to succeed, they have to first be healthy. As a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, I have specialized in pediatric nutrition for over 30 years! I work with children and their families to learn how to make healthy food choices and keep their bodies healthy through nutrition and activity. I work with adolescents to help them develop a positive self image and confidence in making healthy food choices during this period of change. I work with young women/future mothers. Nutrition is the foundation of a healthy life - educating children & families about nutrition is my passion.

Gena is a registered dietitian specializing in working with adults with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, GI Disorders (IBS, IBD, Low FODMAP), PCOS, and Pre/Post Natal Care. Gena believes eating should always be an enjoyable experience and feels it's her passion to help people find that joy in balanced eating. She has seen and felt the positive impact that food can have on one's physical and mental well-being; and she is passionate about helping individuals build healthy and long-lasting habits that improve their quality of life, happiness, and longevity.

Kristin specializes in working with adults and adolescents with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, PCOS, Digestive Conditions, IBS, Low FODMAP, Chron's, and Pre/Post Natal Nutrition. Kristin offers a positive approach to nutrition by focusing on building a healthy relationship with food, making lifestyle changes, goal setting and problem solving to overcome barriers. She believes in staying positive, and that it’s never too late to make lifestyle changes that can lead to a healthier life. Kristin became a dietitian after the experience of caregiving in high school for her grandmother.

Kate practices out of Health Loft providing nutrition therapy for adults and adolescents with Disordered Eating, Eating Disorders, Intuitive Eating, Vegan/Vegetarian diets, and other conditions. Kates drive as a dietitian is to work uniquely with each client to create safe, sustainable, and nourishing relationships with food. I believe that qualified and unbiased nutrition care should be available to every individual, no matter their size, health barriers, or schedule. I translate my culinary training into my practice by promoting food as not only a source of fuel, but comfort, tradition, celebration, connection, and recovery.
