As a dietitian who practices with a non-diet and individualized approach, I recognize there are physiological, psychological and behavioral components to the relationship with food. I utilize principles of mindfulness, Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) for individualized nutrition therapy. Reaching out can evoke many emotions and my job is to collaboratively help you heal your relationship with food in a space that is free of judgment. I believe that by working together, you can become empowered to find sustainability to nourish your mind, body and soul.
Whether you are suffering with an eating disorder, experiencing disordered eating patterns or trying to make sense of the pervasive food, weight, and body cultural messages in the media, I would like to help you on your journey.
In addition, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner and Certified Personal Trainer. If you are interested in yoga principles, I can include that in your treatment for a unique approach. I have also been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Tech and incorporate this therapeutic model into my work with my clients.
