Rachel Davis, RD, LD, CDCES, is a native of Kansas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at Kansas State University, and is currently completing her Master's degree in Dietetics there as well. Rachel has been practicing as a dietitian for the past 4 years, and has experience working in hospitals, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, and community health. Rachel currently specializes in diabetes, and understands that managing health and chronic diseases can rob a person of their intuition and trust in their body, leading to a discordance with their relationship with food and their body.

As a Functional Medicine Nutritionist, my goal is to address the root cause of disease as opposed to simply managing symptoms like most conventional medicine doctors. The body has a unique ability to self-heal when supported with an appropriate whole-foods diet and the intake of targeted, high quality supplements. Since each person is unique, functional nutrition uses a scientific, evidence-based approach to create treatments programs and allow for flexibility and personalized care. In addtion to being a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist, I am a Licensed Esthetician and can also treat a multitude of skin conditions and concerns.
