My name is Melissa Mann; I am a Registered Dietitian specializing in working with clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues and those who want an anti-diet approach to nutrition. My career began at The Mount Sinai Hospital in 2016, where she worked as a Clinical Nutrition Coordinator specializing in oncology. I currently work as the lead dietitian at Monte Nido River Towns, a residential eating disorder treatment center in Irvington, NY. I work with clients to promote healthy, positive relationships with food and body. My approach to nutrition counseling is centered around an all foods fit philosophy.
I truly believe that nourishing your body should be personalized, easy, and enjoyable.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a dual minor in nutrition and human services from the University of Delaware and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and complete a dietetic internship at Long Island University Post.
I later earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. I have a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification through International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals.
