I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and registered dietitian. I have dedicated my career to counseling and pursuing policy change to improve eating disorder treatment access and awareness in Arizona. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and am trained by Evelyn Tribole, one of the authors of Intuitive Eating and use the principles to facilitate eating disorder recovery in sessions. I believe my patients possess the inner wisdom to heal and grow in recovery, and it is a true honor to help them find that inner wisdom or their "super power".
I practice from a weight inclusive, Health at Every Size lens; I emphasize the importance of patient centered care, rather than the medical norm of weight centric care. I strongly believe that weight is only 1 piece of the puzzle, & not something to try to “control".
I am immensely grateful for a career in which I continue to grow and learn each and every day. My patients have taught me more than I ever knew was possible and the opportunity to help them reconnect with their authentic selves through nourishment is what makes me excited to show up as their clinician and partner in recovery.
