For about 20+ years, many patients have come to me with issues around emotional/stress eating, weight management, skin problems, digestive health concerns, mood/energy shifts, blood sugar irregularity, and lab abnormalities. Usually, the culprits of these issues include disordered eating habits, choosing foods that aren’t fueling you, inactivity, poor hydration & stress. As a Registered Dietitian I am passionate about providing personalized nutritional therapy to children, adolescents and adults. A skills based approach is used to create a healthy relationship with food. I do not believe in diets! You will begin on a healthy journey that will begin with developing an understanding of the role food plays in your life. Along the way, you will acquire skills necessary to make lifetime behavioral modifications to help improve or prevent such problems as Obesity, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Cancers, Cardiovascular Disease, performance in sports/activities and self-image.

I started my career in clinical nutrition with a weight loss of over 70 lbs. Since then, I have obtained my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and am currently on the board of directors of the National Lipid Association and the Clinical Nutrition Coordinator at the NYU School of Medicine. My sub-specialty is weight management (loss/gain) and heart health (cholesterol, blood pressure, familial hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome).
