I help people develop a new and improved relationship with food and their body. They learn how to break away from diet culture, food rules and the beliefs that have influenced the choices they make. My clients learn how to reconnect to the wisdom we were all born and blessed with of being intuitive eaters. Confidence and self doubt slowly diminish as we work together and clients are able to become mindful and conscious eaters with any food choice they make. They learn to enjoy eating again with honoring their cravings.
Our body always knows what it needs for nourishment, but signals somehow have become lost and we have to relearn how to reorient to what our body tells us instead of what others tell us we should not eat. I will help you create a roadmap, on how to approach food in a less overwhelming way. I am the author of the book The Eating Disorder Trap
By incorporating balanced nutrition and mindfulness into our daily habits, the need for restrictive diets and calorie counting begins to diminish. As a by product a new relationship with food begins to develop. I started my career at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and also see clients with various medical conditions.
