As an eating disorder specialized registered dietitian, it's one of my core values for every one of my clients to feel their voice is respected and their needs are honored during the recovery process. I will support you with your nutrition targets while being mindful of psychological and medical comorbidities that can complicate nutrition in recovery. I tailor all recommendations in consideration of your food sensitivities, variety limitations, and GI issues (whether due to the eating disorder or preexisting), such as constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and intolerances.

I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and trained Functional Dietitian focusing on holistic approaches to healing chronic and complex diseases. My areas of focus include women’s nutrition (PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, amenorrhea and other menstrual disorders), digestive disorders and diseases (IBS, SIBO, Celiac, Crohn’s, Colitis, and dysbiosis), metabolic conditions (blood sugar dysregulation and high cholesterol) and autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. I specialize in fertility nutrition for those trying to conceive, including general support and those going through Assisted Reproductive Technology.

I am a registered dietitian who specializes in anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, bulimia, ARFID, orthorexia, and other specified feeding and eating disorders. I practice under the “Health At Every Size” (HAES) philosophy and understand that body size is not a determinant factor of health. By incorporating an “all foods fit” approach to eating, I work alongside my clients to understand and incorporate the benefits of a less restrictive, more inclusive and joyful approach to eating.

My approach is informed by by Ellyn Satter, who developed the competent eating model and by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, who created the intuitive eating framework. For eating disorder recovery, I practice a family-based therapy (FBT) informed approach. For all of my clients, I treat you with compassion and respect.

I help people with Type 2 Diabetes get consistent lower blood sugars and decrease medications without feeling restricted in their lives. You may be one of the many people with Type 2 who were given very little advice at diagnosis. You've likely felt overwhelmed with figuring out how to lower your A1c, or tried diets that have felt restrictive or unsustainable. I created the Drop Diabetes Program to simplify reaching lower blood sugar with a completely personalized plan and methods you can stick to.

Nearly a decade into my dietetic practice, I know the recipe for success. I’ve worked with clients perplexed with weight loss and weight gain alike. I’ve worked with infants and ninety year olds, ultra marathon athletes and those struggling to get off the couch. One thing I know for sure is that eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard. I’m here to teach you how to make it easy. I specialize in creating unique strategies and solutions for the busiest of people to meet their personal health goals.

I support adults and adolescents (13+) struggling with disordered eating or eating disorder recovery. I have a particular interest in supporting athletes and clients who engage in dysfunctional exercise. My counseling style is one that works with you, not against you. My role is not to lecture at you, but team with you on a foundation of shared expertise. You, as the expert of your own life. Me, as the nutrition expert.

I want to help you figure out how to eat in a way that is healthy for you, and that's going to look a little different for everyone. A good nutrition plan should add value to your life, not take center stage.

Food shouldn't hurt! If you struggle with digestive issues like IBS, Crohn's, Colitis, Celiac, food allergies or others and are afraid to eat because food hurts, I understand the struggle and can partner with you to find the best diet to help you feel better. For over 20 years I have worked in the field of digestive nutrition with gastroenterologists and gastric surgeons from around the Puget Sound area. I am passionate about helping patients find relief from symptoms with diet and lifestyle changes.

I counsel clients and athletes virtually and in-person. I have worked with some local youth athletic organizations. With a background in both clinical and outpatient nutrition, I also bring my experience as a professional chef to make good nutrition solutions easy to my clients. Interested in sports, performance, and wellness nutrition, I am currently working towards becoming a Board Certified Sports Dietitian. Whether you are play organized team sports or are a Weekend Warrior, I enjoy working with athletes of all ages and abilities, no matter what the end game. ​
