Growing up the daughter of athletic parents, I became interested in sports, wellness and nutrition at a young age. As a competitive gymnast and diver in college, I found it fascinating that what you ate could effect your sports performance. This lead me down the path to becoming a registered dietitian. I am passionate about helping people of all kinds meet their goals through nutrition and wellness and live a healthier life. Each client has their own personal plan that we devise together, so that it is something they can utilize long term.

I am a passionate dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator and strive to help others become their best self through nutrition and lifestyle changes. Melia is a registered dietitian that has dedicated the majority of her dietetic years to supporting individuals in their recovery from disordered eating, working in a multitude of eating disorder centers and children's hospitals. In addition, Melia has expertise in nutrition therapy for various needs including but not limited to pre/post natal nutrition, breastfeeding nutrition/support, pediatric nutrition, weight management, PCOS and women's health. I help youth and teen athletes maximize their athletic potential by pairing their training with a solid nutrition plan.

I teach you to manage your food like a financial manager teaches you to manage your money. All food is fair game, just how much and how often is the question. Your meal plan is a balanced meal plan and it allows you to eat at any location, home, restaurant, at friends. You have to manage your food during your life. I am a pediatric registered dietitian and lactation counselor specializing in GI nutrition and gut health.
