With passion for treatment of eating disorders, and providing treatment multiple levels of care, Paula has the depth of knowledge and experience to treat those who struggle with anorexia, binge eating disorder, and bulimia. Paula works collaboratively with a client's team including therapist, physician, and psychiatrist to support a client's recovery.
Paula has a B.S. in animal science and M.S. in nutrition. After a career teaching chemistry and physics, she attended James Madison University to earn at B.S. in dietetics and completed an internship at Virginia Tech. Piedmont Nutrition was launched immediately in 2004. Paula received her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor credential in 2016.
