Hi! I’m Farah and I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) based in New York City. I have a Masters in Food & Nutrition, and a Masters in Fine Art! I'm a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN), and I work with clients on variety of health issues including weight management, sports nutrition, diabetes and more. In order to address disordered eating behaviors that lead to disease, it is important to understand why changing ones lifestyle can be difficult. My clients learn why they struggle to change their behavior long-term. They discover ways to improve their relationship with food through the process of food deconstruction. Many clients also require a similar method of decoding that helps them improve their body image. Background: After obtaining a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, Kelly worked for many years at Mount Sinai Hospital. She now works at New York Presbyterian Columbia Irving Medical Center, and teaches clinical nutrition as an adjunct professor at New York University. Kelly also has a private practice on the side and offers sessions in the evening hours on weekdays, and in the morning and afternoon on Sundays.
