Additionally, she completed a Master of Arts in Health Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and her Healthcare Executive Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Miami.

She attended Dominican University, where she completed her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as her MS in Nutrition.
