I work with individuals and families who wish to optimize physical energy, increase mental clarity, strengthen immunity, reduce cravings, improve digestion and fat burning, overcome mood swings, eliminate anxiety over food and body issues. Awarded Huntington Best Nutritionist 2019 and 2020, I have been helping clients achieve nutrition & fitness goals since 1993 as a personal trainer, then after graduating NYU with an M.S. in Clinical Nutrition, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, NY state Certified Dietitian Nutritionist, Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. Adjunct Faculty at NYIT & Supervisor at Mount Sinai outpatient clinic since 1999: pediatrics, adolescents, & adults with eating disorders, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, HTN, metabolic syndrome, & more. In this ever changing world of nutrition, I enjoy helping patients decipher the many myths and fads related to a healthy diet. As a Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutritionist, and Certified Diabetes Educator, I am passionate about helping others feel better and live healthier lives. I enjoy staying up to date with current nutritional science and research, and apply this information into a realistic, simple approach to everyday life. I have contributed to health/fitness related articles, including Wellness magazine and Better Homes & Gardines magazine.
