My name is Julie Jaskiewicz and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Diabetes Educator. I have worked in a diabetes center for over 25 years and have also maintained a private practice at Montclair Health Associates for almost as long. I enjoy working with people to help them attain their goals whether that is to improve their health by lowering the blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels or to lose weight. Diabetes can often be very confusing and frustrating to understand how to attain good blood glucose levels and then keep them there. I feel it is important to know as much as you can about what diabetes is, how the medications work and the impact of food on your health.
Everyone is different. One plan does not fit all. I get to know my clients eating patterns and lifestyle to create a plan that will work for them.
