About
You're relaxing on the couch on a Friday night, mindlessly scrolling on social media when you come across an ad for a diet, then another, then ... another. You scroll past the ads only to see a friend posting about their new workout routine, a video boasting about "healthy baking swaps," and an ad for detox tea - all in 10 minutes. In the year 2023, we are in diet culture overload. The information is confusing, misleading, and entirely too overwhelming. It seeps into our brains, creates negative behaviors, encourages us to hate our bodies, and can lead to eating disorders and other dangerous and disordered patterns of eating.
As a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders my goal is to make nutrition, health, and wellness stress free topics of conversation for you. I practice from a HAES (health at every size) centered perspective and use the therapeutic concepts of intuitive eating to help others improve their relationship with food all while prioritizing wellness.
I understand that each of my clients are unique which is why I work hard to personalize every aspect of their experience in order to better meet their needs. Taking the first step toward healing doesn't need to be scary, overwhelming, or intimidating, it just needs to be handled with care.
