Kayla sees clients who are actively struggling with an eating disorder, disordered/chaotic eating, and/or body image concerns. She helps treat all eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant and restrictive food intake disorder, and other specified feeding or eating disorder.)

My training in nutrition and behavioral health has taught me that there is no one size fit all plan to health and well-being. My approach is that your eating plan needs to match your lifestyle, food preferences, and health goals. Food touches every aspect of our lives, from our performance to how our bodies are feeling, to our behaviors with and around food. My ideal client is one that is ready to heal and to do the work necessary to get there. I am a master's level Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is transgender, queer, neurodivergent, and recovered from my own eating disorders. I believe every client is truly unique and sees the world through their own lens. I work from a weight inclusive and social justice stance in striving to respect humans living in different body shapes, sizes, ages, genders, abilities, nationalities, races, religions, and cultures. I believe in developing a strong therapeutic alliance with each client to work alongside them to find their own sustainable solutions for lasting recovery from disordered eating.

As an experienced dietitian with over 10 years of specialized experience in eating disorder recovery, I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health goals and empower them with the knowledge and skills to develop a healthy relationship with food. Through my private practice, I provide comprehensive nutrition counseling and personalized meal planning services to clients of all ages and backgrounds. My training and experience in the field of eating disorder recovery has allowed me to successfully work with clients dealing with conditions such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder and other related issues.
