Do you struggle with chronic dieting or an eating disorder? Do you want to heal your relationship with food and your body? 95% of diets fail, yet we blame ourselves rather than the diet for the failure. I will be on your team to help you challenge the thinking errors regarding food and body. A non-diet, intuitive eating approach will be used with all clientele. I also have expertise in helping those with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), celiac disease, diabetes, and digestive issues. I can provide dietary guidelines for these specific issues and help you adapt the guidelines to your current lifestyle.
I am one of two certified eating disorder dietitians (CEDRD) in the state of Utah. I am known for my empathetic, but firm approach in helping clients make behavior change. I believe in meeting clients were they are at and working together to make steps forward on the road to change. It is all about progress, not perfection.
Recovery is a journey full of ups and downs. It requires a team of support individuals to help you along the way. I work closely with the other team members (therapists, physicians, family/friend supports). I will be with you every step of the way!
