I specialize in sports nutrition with an emphasis on functional health, hormonal balance, and bio-individuality. I help my clients improve their health and fitness, thrive in the sports they love, and cultivate healthy relationships with food while navigating the business of life. Together, we work 1-on-1 to create custom nutrition and exercise approaches to create a lifestyle aligned with your health and fitness goals.

I've seen too many times people hopping from doctor to doctor without finding real answers or results. No one means to dismiss another person, especially when they are in pain and looking for help, but these doctors simply don't have the time to find the root cause of your ailments. As a Registered Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist, I take plenty of time to listen to you and your frustrations. I offer blood testing to identify foods that may be the root cause of your pain. Together, we will walk through the process of eliminating foods that are making you sick. Then, we will find foods that you love and make you feel great!

She sees clients as the expert of their lived experience and believes that folks are "already whole." Whether you are in the action or maintenance phase in your health journey (or eating disorder recovery), Malou welcomes you to come as you are. They invite folks to consider or discover a non-diet, weight-inclusive, anti-oppression approach. With a clinical nutrition background, she offers medical nutrition therapy, nutrition counseling, and nutrition assessments for those concerned of the severity of their symptoms.

It is not often we are encouraged to honor our bodies needs.  We live in world that teaches us to "watch it" and "have it together", especially around weight and food.  Unfortunately, this constant pressure to "be good" can play a role in constant dieting, restricting, binging, purging and an all or nothing attitude around exercise.  Fortunately, we can make peace with food and our bodies again.  My approach of somatic nutrition therapy and coaching teaches intuitive eating and body wisdom skills to learn to trust our bodies again.
