I specialize in nutrition counseling for all ages with eating disorders, emotional eating, disordered eating & weight management issues. I use a nondiet, nonjudgmental, and collaborative approach to provide nutrition counseling. I will work with you by offering support and guidance to help you reach and maintain your nutritional goals. I am a Registered Dietitian who has been providing nutrition therapy and counseling since 2002. I am passionate about helping people develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.
Michelle has a bachelors in biology from Binghamton University & a masters in nutrition science from Syracuse University. She gained an expertise in providing nutrition therapy for those struggling with eating disorders while working with both inpatient and partial day treatment eating disorder patients for 4 years at University Medical Center at Princeton.
Michelle also worked at The Renfrew Center of New York in Manhattan for 6 years providing nutrition therapy for those with Anorexia, Bulimia, and Binge Eating Disorder, in their day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs.
In 2011, Michelle received a Certificate of Training in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.
