My passion and nutrition related experience is in treating people who suffer from various types of eating disorders, addictions and other co-occurring disorders. I want to help clients establish a healthy relationship with food and their body in order to maintain long-term success in their recovery and how they view themselves.

Meredith Starr is a registered dietitian and Director of Nutrition Services at Allow Wellness in Chicago. She is an alumna of the University of Illinois at Chicago Coordinated Nutrition Program and began her nutrition career at UI Health general inpatient services while working part-time at a residential treatment facility for eating disorders. Meredith is deeply passionate about the treatment of eating disorders and has been practicing in this field for the past seven years.

Lizzie received her bachelor’s in nutrition and dietetics from The Ohio State University and went on to complete her dietetic internship at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to Allow Wellness, Lizzie has experience working in a residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care for eating disorder treatment. She also has experience in research, food insecurity and mental health acute care.

Hi, I’m Kelsey! I am a Health at Every Size aligned Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, co-occurring mental health disorders, intuitive eating, and weight-neutral medical nutrition therapy. I follow a size-inclusive, weight-neutral, non-diet, and evidence-based approach to help my clients re-frame their mindsets around diet culture and weight bias. I help educate and counsel clients to increase their awareness of the importance of nutritionally balanced lifestyles and disordered eating recovery using concepts such as All Foods Fit, Health at Every Size, and Intuitive Eating.

The registered dietitians at Healthier Tomorrows are passionate about providing comprehensive in-person and virtual nutrition services to our clients, and we are committed to providing the highest level of care as we partner with our clients to help them develop a healthy and satisfying relationship with food and their body. Our goal is to empower our clients to make the healthy choices and changes they need to successfully sustain long-term recovery from their eating disorder, or to improve their overall health and wellness and feel their very best.

My goal is to not only help my clients lose weight but also the skills you will need to maintain results you achieve by building a solid foundation of baseline habits that will serve you for the rest of your life. I counsel patients making behavior modifications and lifestyle changes to help them meet their health and nutrition goals. I understand the value of support and accountability when embarking on a new health journey to create long-term, sustainable change. I believe in an integrative approach to health and wellness, providing patient-centered care, knowing that one’s relationship with food can be impacted by many factors. Being able to participate in this journey kindles my passion for helping others be empowered to achieve their goals and have a healthy relationship with food, and improve their quality of life.

I've had the opportunity to help people with healing this relationship and meeting people where they are at with their eating disorder recovery or sports performance goals.

I also know all of the pressures we face to be perfect, look good, and eat right, all while balancing your family’s needs. With a background in NCAA and experience in elite-level cycling, I understand the challenges athletes face in trying to reach the next level. Whether recovering from injury, addressing nutritional issues, or improving the relationship with food and body, I'm here to guide you back to peak performance.
