As a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years, I am committed to providing excellent nutrition therapy services with compassion and inclusivity. I have witnessed the harm caused by chronic dieting and eating disorders, and maintain expertise in eating disorder recovery, utilizing a Health At Every Size approach. In addition, I respect the science of nutrition and stay abreast of best Medical Nutrition Therapy practices for diabetes management, cardiovascular health, and general wellness.
In addition to my expertise as a Registered Dietitian, I am also a Wellness Coach and Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise. I utilize a Health At Every Size approach, which focuses on your holistic wellness goals independent of the weight scale.
A personal interest of mine is in healing both individual and legacy trauma; while I am not a psychotherapist, I do provide trauma-informed collaborative care. Clients appreciate my honest and direct approach, and we often enjoy lighthearted moments throughout our sessions together.
