Hi! My name is Melissa and I am both a registered dietitian and a registered nurse. Although I have learned so much and enjoyed working as a registered nurse in both acute care and outpatient settings, my interests truly lie in chronic disease prevention and management through a healthful diet and lifestyle and in learning from the journey taken toward achieving these goals. My passion is in helping others along their journeys to reaching their personal health and wellness goals.
As a dietitian, I have experience working with clients interested in diet and lifestyle modification recommendations for diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, kidney disease, some GI disorders (IBS, Crohn’s), hypertension, high cholesterol, and those who are interested in weight management. Additionally, I have experience working w/ clients who are vegetarian/vegan.
My goal is to help you achieve your health and wellness goals through my commitment to providing positive, thoughtful, and individualized recommendations and to empower you through education and encouragement. Each journey is unique and I consider it an honor to be a partner in yours!
