I believe in a non-diet approach to nutrition & healthy eating. My philosophy encourages a peaceful relationship with food, increasing mindfulness of internal cues, and ultimately working toward intuitive eating. I enjoy connecting with clients by supporting them with personal goals, providing nutrition education & helping build confidence in decision making about food. I am a Health at Every Size advocate and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As an RD since 2001, I have counseled clients in various settings, but have specialized in treating eating disorders and disordered eating since 2003. I hold Certificates in Training in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Weight Management and am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians.
