I'm Megan Bishop - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and owner of Nashville Nutrition & Weight Loss. I approach each person as the individual they are because the only thing we know for sure about nutrition is that no "diet" works for everyone! While I specialize in weight management, most people I work with really have other goals: taking less medication; improving diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, heart disease, liver disease or joint pain; being eligible to have a necessary surgery; being able to play with kids and grandkids; having more energy; and living longer. Our focus is the behaviors that lead to these outcomes.
I specialize in weight management, diabetes and preventative nutrition. I am a Certified Specialist in Obesity & Weight Management, and am in the process of becoming a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist. My goal is to help you figure out how to make food and nutrition work for you - in YOUR life, within YOUR preferences and to meet YOUR goals.
