My name is Julie Jaskiewicz and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Diabetes Educator. I have worked in a diabetes center for over 25 years and have also maintained a private practice at Montclair Health Associates for almost as long. I enjoy working with people to help them attain their goals whether that is to improve their health by lowering the blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels or to lose weight. Many people know some of the basics of healthy eating but do not know how to put it all together to make sense. Let me assist!

I started my career in clinical nutrition with a weight loss of over 70 lbs. Since then, I have obtained my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and am currently on the board of directors of the National Lipid Association and the Clinical Nutrition Coordinator at the NYU School of Medicine. My sub-specialty is weight management (loss/gain) and heart health (cholesterol, blood pressure, familial hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome).

Elena is a Registered Diettian / Nutritionist with extensive experience of over 15 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Food Science from Hunter College & City University and completed a dietetic internship program at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. She is an accredited member of the American Nutrition Academy and completed her Certificate of Training in Weight Management. Leslie combines her nutrition knowledge and passion with motivational support to help her clients make lifestyle changes. She works with her clients and other heath care professionals to help them understand and sort out fact from fiction in relation to nutrition. By implementing small changes one healthy step at a time, she conquers small goals with her clients leading to weight change and disease management.

My goal is to make it 100% easy for you to follow your specified dietary plan and lifestyle changes to meet your goal. I always review your food likes/dislikes, make necessary changes paying attention to your food likes. I believe that good nutrition is the one that is eaten, good diet plan/lifestyle change is the one that is simple and easy to follow for a long time. I use visuals and measures to bring points home and clear, you don't have to take notes, I do give handouts which you might never have to read because my points are always clear.
