About
Binge eating and emotional eating are conditions that are widely misunderstood. All too often we are led to believe that we lack will power and motivation to stop eating or to lose weight. Feelings of guilt, shame, and even loneliness can keep us in a perpetual cycle of dieting and deprivation. You are not alone in your struggle. Millions of women and men in the U.S struggle with chronic dieting and/or disordered eating. Using a non-diet approach, I provide education to clear up confusion around nutrition facts and challenge dieting myths.
I specialize in disordered eating, emotional eating, binge eating disorder, and provide support for pre and post-bariatric surgery. I understand the challenges of talking about food and weight. I am here to listen and provide support in a safe, compassionate environment. I will work with you to guide your journey to health and well-being.
Eating is about more than food, and balanced nutrition is more than a list of what you should and should not eat. I can help you understand your relationship with food and will work with you to develop eating strategies that are unique to your personality, lifestyle and goals.
