I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I have advanced training in the field of diabetes plus years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings working with patients with a variety of other chronic disease states and nutrition concerns. I have extensive knowledge and experience with continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps. Aside from my professional experience, I have my own experience as a patient with gestational diabetes during pregnancy and a history of disordered eating in my teenage/early adult years.
I strongly believe that nutrition is not “one size fits all”. I get to know my patients and build a relationship to be sure they are being provided with the best patient-centered care.
