Jamie Dannenberg (she | her | hers)
Nutritionist/Dietitian, MS, RD, LDN
Food is more than just nutrients and energy. This common mentality undermines the impact and meaning food has in our lives. Food is memories, connections, fun, relational, grief, and celebratory, and doesn’t need to be about rules, restriction, shame, and fear. I understand that our relationship with food can be complicated by critical food thoughts, judgments about one’s body, trauma, access to food resources, and overall food and body history.
I understand that recovery from an eating disorder, disordered eating, and/or chronic dieting often involves changing behaviors that we have relied on for a long time. With patience, compassion, and support I help clients build healthy relationships with food and their bodies.
I provide a safe and inclusive space for people of all sizes, shapes, genders, sexualities, races, religions, abilities, and backgrounds. Using a non-diet and Health at Every Size approach, I look forward to working alongside you as you relearn how to trust the wisdom of your body.
