I provide primarily virtual services at this time. I am an anti- diet dietitian! Hello! I am a Registered Dietitian with a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, somatic and relational approach. I provide nutrition therapy focused on helping people heal their relationships with food and their body. Using my training in the Embodied Recovery model, I help clients understand how their eating behaviors intersect with their nervous system states, and help them to safely reconnect with their body's cues and needs, deepening embodiment as a means to authentic eating disorder recovery. Peggy is a registered and licensed dietitian. She graduated Cum Laude with a double major in biology and psychology from Loyola University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois, with her Dietetics degree and her Masters in Public Health. Peggy has counseled thousands of patients in an outpatient setting for over 22 years. By working with Peggy, you will gain increased clarity with not only your personal nutrition goals, but also the sometimes confusing and conflicting nutrition landscape. She provides one-on-one, personalized nutrition recommendations in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

I started my career in clinical nutrition with a weight loss of over 70 lbs. Since then, I have obtained my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and am currently on the board of directors of the National Lipid Association and the Clinical Nutrition Coordinator at the NYU School of Medicine. My sub-specialty is weight management (loss/gain) and heart health (cholesterol, blood pressure, familial hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome).

My work as a dietitian has been strongly influenced by non-diet, Health at Every Size® principles. I am passionate about helping clients struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and/or negative body image. I find genuine connection with each of my clients and support them in reestablishing a new relationship with their bodies, food, and exercise.
