Hi there! I'm Faith, licensed registered dietitian and founder of The Bariatric Nutritionist. I specialize in treating adults with overweight and obesity. I received my Masters in Nutrition at University of Illinois. I bring to my practice over 6 years of nutrition therapy at one of the largest medical and surgical weight loss centers in Chicago. My counseling style is empathetic and encouraging.

I am a Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in Illinois. I received my Bachelors in Nutrition Science with a minor in biological sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago. As an undergrad I participated in research related to diabetes, weight loss, physical activity and public health. I completed 1200 hours of supervised clinical training from Uchicago Medicine Ingalls memorial Dietetic Internship program. During my training I did research on nutrigenomics, diabetes, and weight loss.

You’ll hear me say this all the time because I truly believe it: all foods fit. There are no “good” and “bad” foods. The only time I’m going to tell you not to eat something is if you’re allergic to it or if it has mold on it. Other than that, all foods fit! Asante is a Board-Certified Registered Dietitian. She completed her clinical internship and masters degree at Rush University Medical Center after graduating from Case Western Reserve University. Asante is an expert in counseling and educating patients who need medical nutrition therapy in either an inpatient or outpatient setting. In sessions with Asante she will empower her patients and instill confidence in his or herself to achieve desired goals.

Hi, I am Janelle Middleton, MPH, RDN, LDN. I completed my graduate course work at Loma Linda University in California and undergraduate studies at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. I have 8 years of RD experience and earned Employee of the Month in my previous clinical nutrition role. Since I would describe myself as very much a people person, naturally inquisitive, and a great listener, you can expect to feel heard and supported in our sessions. I pride myself on being empathetic and encouraging, while effectively holding you accountable to the goals YOU set for yourself.

Meredith Starr is a registered dietitian and Director of Nutrition Services at Allow Wellness in Chicago. She is an alumna of the University of Illinois at Chicago Coordinated Nutrition Program and began her nutrition career at UI Health general inpatient services while working part-time at a residential treatment facility for eating disorders. Meredith is deeply passionate about the treatment of eating disorders and has been practicing in this field for the past seven years.

Christi (she/her) became a registered dietitian in 2019. She studied dietetics and dance at Michigan State University and completed a master’s degree in applied nutrition at Russell Sage College. She has helped clients with diabetes, metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, mental health conditions, and weight goals in addition to having experience providing care for the LGBTQ+ community. Christi takes a holistic approach to nutrition counseling, considering multiple aspects of health and well-being when prescribing diet advice.

Brooklyn is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who earned both her Bachelor of Science in Community-Medical Dietetics and Master of Science in Nutrition Science degrees from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. She also completed her 1,200+ hour dietetic internship that focused on both community and clinical dietetics. During nutrition counseling sessions with Brooklyn, you can expect to feel fully heard and motivated to reach your unique nutritional goals.

I am a dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition, based in Chicago, IL, and I am deeply passionate about helping people with kidney disease & kidney health concerns. Sara has been a Registered Dietitian since 2016. She specializes in providing medical nutrition therapy for oncology patients. She works with patients prior to starting cancer treatment, during treatment, and for nutrition therapy after completing treatment. She received a Master’s degree in Public Health and Nutrition from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health and completed her dietetics training through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Coordinated RD program. Eliza has experience providing nutrition care in a variety of settings, including eating disorder treatment, group practice, and long term care. Eliza practices from a non-diet, weight-neutral approach, caring for the whole person.

My name is Michel Harris and I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2000 and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2010. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Benedictine University before by internship at Hines VA Hospital. Some of my past work experiences have included long term care, foodservice management, private practice serving individuals with eating disorders, and inpatient positions in hospitals. My passion for teaching the future generation of nutrition professionals led me to start teaching in 2018.
