I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I hold a Master's in Human Nutrition from the University of New Haven and completed a comprehensive dietetic internship at Yale-NewHaven Hospital. I aim to help patients achieve their health goals through evidence-based, patient-centered nutrition care.

I have dedicated myself to help female endurance athletes ages 15-38 find natural ways to improve their performance, energy and stamina to reach their athletic potential. Some have struggled with disordered eating patterns, several trips to the doctors without answers, low energy, hormonal issues, frequent illness, gut issues such as bloating, IBS attributed to potential food sensitivities and feeling completely overwhelmed and frustrated about the right nutritional plan for their individual needs. I get down to the root causes through alternative testing, lifestyle changes, and meal planning.

Often times people wait until they are diagnosed with a chronic disease before implementing change into their daily routine. I work one-on-one with clients with the intention of preventing chronic disease states, such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and other other life-altering diseases through lifestyle. Achieving a healthy weight and a supportive gut are how we can eat to beat disease. An optimal gut plays a major role in preventing disease, regulating hormones, boosting immunity, and more. It's never too late to start living well.

New England Nutrition specializes in managing gastrointestinal (GI) disorders including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, SIBO, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis), Celiac Disease, GERD, and more. New England Nutrition also provides nutrition therapy for various other medical conditions as well as healthy diet counseling.

Functional medicine nutrition aims to address the root cause of disease instead of just managing symptoms. As a nutritionist I believe in the body's innate ability to heal itself. Hi, I’m Cerina, a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist that specializes in Integrative and Functional Nutrition and Wellness, along with coaching through behavior change. I’ve helped clients with a variety of health challenges including; a history of chronic dieting, fatigue and digestive issues (e.g., bloat, gas, etc.) and athletic performance. In my work with clients I help them to improve their relationship with food by deconstructing food cravings to increase their energy levels and focus, lose weight while also eating easy to prepare delicious foods. All this together to ultimately regain control over their health.

There is so much nutrition information out there. Shifting through all the informaion can be down right confusing and overwhelming.
