I am dietitian with a passion to mend your relationship with food. I desire to help my clients gain a better understanding of nutrition while gaining trust in food and their bodies through nutrition therapy. I have a Masters of Science at Columbia University in Diabetes Education and Management and offer a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to this population. My professional specialty includes assisting those with eating disorders, history of chronic dieting or bariatric surgery, PCOS, diabetes and pre-diabetes. Ultimately I love what I do and am passionate to help each individual see food as source of balance, fuel and love.

Why would someone want to work with me? What makes me different? I believe that each client is a person not what ails them at the time they are seeking help. Clients I treat as individuals and there is not one protocol or approach for each person. I usually see clients who have already tried mainstream medical care and are just not finding the relief they sought. They know there is more work to do however, they are possibly not being heard by their current healthcare providers or not at their optimal state of health that they know they can feel or once felt.

I am also a Licensed Esthetician, Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga and Pilates Instructor as well as Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner. My clients range from those who are chronically ill and dealing with challenges such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension and injuries to those who are very healthy but want to be educated on how to improve their health further. I consult each person based on their desired health goals in reaching optimal health. With my training I am able to design exercise programs, provide nutritional protocols as well as stress relief through yoga, pilates, Thai massage, Reiki and Nutritional Cellular Cleansing.

Many of my clients come to me for help with digestive health concerns, With my experience in nutrition education, I take the time to answer questions and explain the rationale behind my recommendations so you understand where they are stemming from. Although I provide a plan, my client is in the driver's seat. I provide you with various options that will lead you to optimal health.

My clients are people who would like to develop a better relationship with food. They may have a history of dieting or may just be confused and overwhelmed by what food to eat. Many of my clients have digestive issues, autoimmune diseases, mental health struggles, or markers of poor health and often come to me tired, overwhelmed and frustrated by the excess of contradictory nutrition information they see online and in the world at large. They would like a simple approach to nutrition and are willing to do the work of getting to the root cause of their issues.

I have been in the field of nutrition for over 30 years. During this time, I have co-founded Denville Family Counseling with my spouse, Eric.
