After earning her bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Ohio University, Jennifer completed an accredited dietetic internship and master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. When working with Jennifer, she will support you in accomplishing your health goals in a non-judgmental environment. Jennifer has enjoyed working in various healthcare settings providing medical nutrition therapy to adults with chronic diseases as well as ensuring pregnant women are meeting their nutrition requirements.

Danielle is a Registered Dietitian who practices out of Health Loft. Danielle understands that making fulfilling, long-lasting, and healthful decisions requires patience and a solid client-provider relationship. Change can be challenging, and you need a supportive provider to help navigate the way as you create your own path. Danielle strongly believes that being healthy means not only taking care of our physical health, but also our mental health. Melanie Lewis is an experienced registered dietitian living in Chicago. Her curiosity for food and nutrition began at a young age harvesting and preparing the fresh fruits and vegetables grown right in her own backyard. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Penn State University. After graduation, she traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to complete over 1000 hours of supervised practice at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Her experience has allowed her to provide evidence-based nutrition education to diverse populations with a variety of nutritional needs.

Kara Blohm, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN, CDCES is a Chicago area Registered Dietitian, she holds two Master of Science degrees from San Diego State University - one in Nutritional Science and one in Exercise Physiology. Kara is a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) providing clear and concise education for diabetes management, helping you create healthy habits so diabetes fits into YOUR desired lifestyle. She also holds a Board Certification as a Specialist in Sport Nutrition (CSSD), working with recreational athletes and professional athletes alike helping them shatter their performance goals.

I have been a dietitian since 2017 and have learned so much throughout the years. I specialize in renal disease, transplant (pre or post), diabetes, blood pressure, or cholesterol management and weight loss. I enjoy developing a good relationship with patients, not just learning about their diet, but their overall lifestyle. I am very flexible depending on patient's learning preferences and am happy to adjust education as needed. I look forward to working with new clients and helping as much as I can!

Nazia received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. She then went onto complete her Master of Science in Nutrition and Wellness (MSNW) and Masters of Public Health (MPH) alongside her Dietetic Internship at Benedictine University. She then worked for Kaplan University for their Nutrition Department as an adjunct instructor. She has also worked as a clinical dietitian for Good Samaritan Hospital. While at Kaplan Nazia completed her Master of Science in Education in Instructional technology (MS Ed.). Nazia is currently working on her PhD in Health Sciences.

Emily is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She completed her education at Mount Mary University and her clinical internship at Roger’s Behavioral Health, both in Wisconsin. Within her first year of being an RDN, Emily presented to over 100 RDNs in her state on the importance of weight inclusive care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading as many books as possible, and being a cat mom to her big cat (Blue) and little cat (Lilly).

Catherine obtained a Master’s Degree in Nutritional Science and has over 17 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian. Catherine has experience developing nutrition programs for a health and well-being company and a rehabilitation center. She especially enjoys the one-to-one interaction and relationship that blossoms when working with clients. During sessions with Catherine, you can expect a non-judgmental, confidential, and client centered conversation. She will meet you where you are at in your health and wellness journey and assist with setting SMART goals.
