I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience in sports nutrition, eating disorders & disordered eating in children and adults, pediatric nutrition, gastrointestinal issues, body image concerns, and food allergies. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. I then earned my Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Auburn University while completing research on the Mediterranean Diet. I completed my dietetic internship at the University of Houston with a focus on sports nutrition and disordered eating.

Gena is a registered dietitian specializing in working with adults with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, GI Disorders (IBS, IBD, Low FODMAP), PCOS, and Pre/Post Natal Care. Gena believes eating should always be an enjoyable experience and feels it's her passion to help people find that joy in balanced eating. She has seen and felt the positive impact that food can have on one's physical and mental well-being; and she is passionate about helping individuals build healthy and long-lasting habits that improve their quality of life, happiness, and longevity.

I am an eating disorder dietitian in Washington, DC who specializes in working with adults with eating disorders and truly believe full recovery is possible. I work with client's recovering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa (which I believe can occur at all body sizes but in some cases is referred to as Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder or OSFED), Orthorexia, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Binge Eating Disorder, body image concerns and body dysmorphia.
