Sarah Picklo Halabu is a Registered Dietitian specializing in diabetes care. Sarah works with clients who have Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes. She has over 20 years of experience and has earned the highest level of diabetes expertise as a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist with board certification in advanced diabetes management. She is certified in many diabetes technologies including insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors, and hybrid closed loop systems.

Our is to provide weight inclusive medical nutrition therapy, using the principles of Intuitive Eating in a HAES aligned practice. She then went onto complete her Master of Science in Nutrition and Wellness (MSNW) and Masters of Public Health (MPH) alongside her Dietetic Internship at Benedictine University. She then worked for Kaplan University for their Nutrition Department as an adjunct instructor. She has also worked as a clinical dietitian for Good Samaritan Hospital. While at Kaplan Nazia completed her Master of Science in Education in Instructional technology (MS Ed.). Nazia is currently working on her PhD in Health Sciences.
