Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Ashtynne, Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer serving residents of Texas and Oklahoma. After earning my Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University, I went on to complete my Master’s in Food and Nutrition Sciences from the University of Central Oklahoma. My experience as a dietitian and personal trainer has given me the unique opportunity to witness the extensive impact nutrition has on health and wellness. I believe in the power of basics and that your health journey should be life giving — not restricting!

My clients range from someone who is just starting to think about making healthier changes to competitive athletes and everything in between. Whether you are looking to take what you're already doing well to the next level or you're so tired diets you almost want to give up, you will have success on my program. I personalize a plan that works for YOU. With you in the driver's seat, we will work together to create sustainable changes and habits. I help individuals who are tired of dieting and/or frustrated with diabetes taking over their lives. They are confused by the conflicting nutrition and health messages in the media; tired of being placed on additional medications without understanding their condition. They have a desire to work one on one with an expert to customize a plan to meet their unique needs. Their goal is to create a healthy lifestyle and relationship around food and to stop the yo-yo weight loss diet game.

Telehealth & In Person: I am a functional medicine dietitian dedicated to addressing the root cause with personalized nutrition and lifestyle interventions. I partner with clients to create a targeted plan that suits their unique needs and goals and provide them with the tools to transform their health. In the process I help my clients learn how to listen to their bodies so they can provide their bodies with what they need & heal their relationship with food.

For over 10 years, I have worked with active individuals as well as youth, adolescent, collegiate and professional athletes across a variety of sports and activities, helping them to fuel and perform their best, while enjoying ALL of their favorite foods.

Maria-Paula's interest in nutrition started during her high-school years when she visited a Registered Dietitian in her native country of Ecuador. At that time, she realized her passion - helping others achieve their goals through healthy eating. Maria-Paula decided to embark on a journey and enrolled at Texas Woman's University to pursue her goals. As a Dietitian, Maria-Paula has been working with families from the start. She has provided services at Head Start, WiC, the NICU at Parkland Hospital and Children's Health.
