Christina Spencer
Nutritionist/Dietitian, CNTP
You’ve been recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. What we eat can inflame us or help pain decrease. You’re looking for ways to lessen pain through diet and exercise.
I was diagnosed with autoimmune arthritis in 2016. Thankfully, I was introduced to the autoimmune protocol diet by a friend. The best part was this friend walked through the transition with me. I was able to reduce my pain by 85% in changing how I ate.
I remember the night I drove home from the rheumatologist with my new diagnosis. On top of being in constant pain, I now was scared I was going to die. I’m so glad I had a friend who was on the AIP diet who walked through this time with me. I now want to help others, walk alongside them and help change diet and exercise to manage autoimmune issues.
