My varied nutrition background helps me bring a unique view to working with clients. I have worked in hospitals, schools, food pantries, and in agriculture. I am a mom of three young kids and our family loves to stay active. Whether it is swimming in the summer (we're just outside of Chicago!), skiing/snowboarding in the winter, or family walks around our neighborhood, we like to keep busy! She earned her Bachelor of Science from Central Missouri State University, graduating as the chapter’s President of Kappa Omicron Nu Honors Fraternity. Her didactic practicum was completed at Jewish College of Nursing and Allied Health in association with Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University.

What we now know through science is that factors from our environment such as diet, physical activity, sleep and stress, actually play a large role in the expression of our genes.
