I have been a dietitian for 14 years, all of which have included pediatrics to adults. I have worked at two children’s hospitals as well as outpatient settings. Diabetes has been an interest of mine since the beginning so I pursued an advanced certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I especially enjoy working with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. I became a dietitian after playing sports throughout my life and becoming a runner as an adult. Heart disease runs in my family and I took a special interest in improving the food choices of those around me to improve their health.

In my undergraduate program at Benedictine University, I was awarded the community nutrition award; which is awarded to dietetic students that provide service to the community through nutrition. As well as how much I have learned and grown throughout while educating clients about their nutrition needs. She completed her internship at the UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital where she focused on community nutrition. Prior to her internship, she was awarded graduate student of the year while she completed her Master of Science degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences. I have a Masters degree in nutrition and am a licensed and credentialed registered dietitian. I received my Masters in Nutrition at University of Illinois. I bring to my practice over 6 years of nutrition therapy at one of the largest medical and surgical weight loss centers in Chicago. I earned a Masters of Science in Dietetics at Eastern Illinois University and worked as a Sanitarian completing Health Inspections for the local community prior to becoming a Registered Dietitian.
