I have worked in a variety of eating disorder settings including residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. My experience comes from working for the University Health Network, Toronto General Hospital Eating Disorders program, a world-renowned treatment facility with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I was a founding member of New Dawn Eating Disorder Program and La Ventana San Francisco division where I played a key role in the planning and development of the nutrition component in both programs. I presently see patients individually, I also conduct meal groups where individuals can get support with their eating.

If you have prediabetes, high blood pressure or elevated cholesterol, you may be experiencing fatigue and brain fog, cravings, anxiety, digestive symptoms and/or weight gain. Maybe your doctor has advised you to change your diet and lifestyle but you don’t know where to start. Nutrition counseling gives you the necessary framework to change your habits and create optimal health. I believe our fork is one of the most powerful tools to prevent chronic disease and what goes on that fork will look different from person to person. Let’s use food as medicine to transform the way you feel and prevent the need for multiple pharmaceuticals.
