I enjoy helping clients gain a better understanding of themselves so they can make sustainable changes. There are so many factors that shape eating patterns: genetics, religious practices, trauma, mental health conditions, food sensitivities/allergies, etc. Let's get down to the root of what is causing your challenges with food.
I have worked with clients ages 13+ in PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings. The majority of my experience has been centered around the connection between the brain and the GI system. Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) will include looking at mental health, labs, activity level, sleep, energy, etc. BMI is not a determinant of health.
I want to hear about the experiences that have created the person you are today. Our relationships with food and our bodies are very complex. Healing begins with a better understanding of yourself. I will provide a safe space for you to share your story.
