Our genetic makeup is what makes us unique and is complex in nature. Originally learned as being but a factor that is completely out of our control, epigenetic research shows otherwise. What we now know through science is that factors from our environment such as diet, physical activity, sleep and stress, actually play a large role in the expression of our genes. While we can't entirely change what we are born with, healthy habits do in fact nurture healthy genes. In a nutshell, I'm here to challenge, support and guide you in rewiring your genes and taking direct control over your life.
Consultations will be tailored to meet your own unique needs. Each session will focus on cultivating sustainable habits to support long term health and well-being. Above all else, I seek teamwork and collaboration with my clients, encouraging and supporting all to take a proactive, preventative approach towards health.
My current work and interests lie in integrative and functional nutrition, gastrointestinal health, maternal nutrition (including pre and postpartum), brain health and aging, stress management, sports nutrition, cancer/disease risk reduction, adolescent/pediatric nutrition, pre-diagnosed food sensitivities, intolerances and/or allergies.
