My ideal patient is someone who wants to learn about clean eating and healthy ingredients to put into AND onto their body and how just one ingredient can promote health or disease. For example, spinach or chicken may be toxic to my patient but healthy to someone else. Through customized nutrition treatment plans, genetic testing, application of Chinese medicine (when clinically appropriate), and meal planning my patients learn how to eat compatible, real foods for their body to eliminate the source of symptoms and health issues.

Welcome to Nutrition Counseling of New England! Where I have the honor of working with individual clients, families, and worksites. I help individuals who are looking to quit dieting for good and instead heal their relationship with food. My clients learn how to healthfully prepare their favorite foods and enjoy them fully! I became a dietitian in 2013 because of a strong interest and passion for food. That passion for food started in my teens and ultimately fueled my decision to go to culinary school. I am a Massachusetts Chinese Medicine doc and Licensed Dietitian. I studied Functional Medicine before it became a buzzword 15+ years ago, although no longer use much expen$ive testing. I have a special interest in the areas of digestive issues such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, IBD, IBS, and reflux. I get outstanding results. I am also really good at using Chinese Medicine to successfully treat many gynecological issues such as heavy bleeding, menopausal symptoms, pain during periods, and irregular periods. In addition I have excellent results with autoimmune and other inflammatory diseases such as cardiovascular and diabetes.

Ashley's goal in working with clients is to help them find freedom from food and achieve optimal health. Ashley has experience working with individuals in a variety of care settings (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient) and truly believes the importance of strong team approach.
