I have been a practicing physician for 20 years. As a Naturopathic Doctor I specialize in musculoskeletal rehabilitation (acute and chronic joint and muscle pain), and women’s health (PMS, menopause, fatigue, insomnia, thyroid, hormones). In evaluation I use a variety of assessment tools including functional exams, labs, and imaging. I have a unique functional approach when addressing musculoskeletal pain that comes from years of training in human movement.
I have several areas of expertise. In physical rehabilitation I use dry needling, prolotherapy, trigger point injections, perineural injections, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, kinesiology taping and exercise therapeutics. In consideration of women's health I use bioidentical hormone therapy, supplements, medications, and nutrition.
I look at each person's body as an individual and provide treatments based on the assessment. Being a compassionate listener and caring individual are keys to my success. I have the honor of having been voted Best Doctor by Portland Monthly Magazine 2017-2021,2023.
