I’m a Naturopathic Doctor. My focus is working with people who are struggling with chronic symptoms/disease, chronic inflammation and autoimmunity. This could be a 22 year old with IBS and anxiety, a 42 woman in perimenopause with a mysterious skin rash, or a 60 year old with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Chronic disease can be any number of clearly diagnosed diseases or it can be the messy mishmash of vague, nagging symptoms (ex: fatigue, digestive upset, acne, hair loss, pain, etc..) that make you feel bad, but your MD says all your lab tests are "normal" and then offers you an antidepressant.
I love working with people with chronic symptoms who have felt let down, frustrated or dismissed by their merry-go-round of MD specialists. This is because, my Naturopathic or Functional Medicine approach is able to look at the whole picture, find patterns and connections and actually address the key elements that are fueling symptoms or illness.
I use modern lab tests and functional medicine approaches to get detailed objective information about your current health. And I use the tools of nature - food, herbs, mind/body, craniosacral and reiki - to support your healing.
